- Pay off at least 2 credit cards in full.
DONE. I paid off both credit cards in Australia which only leaves us with the credit card here in Canada as well as the line of credit. My plans to pay off the third credit card by the end of this year was twarted when i need to hire a lawyer to keep me in the country.
- Go to Cuba in September or October this year. -
DONE . Although we waited until November (which was the better time to go anyway) we still did this.. and none of this trip went on credit either.
- Attend another city n the USA for the weekend (either Portland, Chicago or LA)-
DONE.. went to LA last May, again none of it paid off with credit but we did use of tax return to pay for the flight. Not the greatest thing to do but regardless we did it.
- Loose average 2 pounds a week from now to September -
Went well for a while there. Went down a pants size during the summer and right before Cuba. However its still higher then i would like it to be.. continuing this for next year.
- Be bikini ready for Cuba-
Um yeah NO..... although i did loose some weight i was no wear bikini ready for Cuba. Perhaps this one was a little high in being achieved.
- Take a creative writing class. No. Don't know why i didn't get around to this
- Craft more -
Although i did craft more at time (i went through stage where i did then then didn't for a while) i would still like to craft more then i do.
-Get 8 hours a sleep on average a night.
Although I can't tell you exactly how many hours a night on average I definitely got more sleep then in previous year.. I think also I am coming to terms with the fact that I am not a youning any more and I can't got out and sleep for little hours and be functional the next day (like I did in my 20's haha). Taking better care of myself.
- Permanent residency application and extension of working visa- This is almost done. The extension of my work visa is done and the paperwork is in for the permanent resident. So hopefully I will have this all taking care off in the next year. Although this was a goal for 2012, if you remember this was mainly done due to necessity :)
So here are some of my long term goals for 2013.. 13 goals for 2013.
1. Pay off the final credit card and have the line of credit under $5,000.00
2. Pay off the lawyer loan from work
3. Have $1,000.00 saved in our emergency/Australia fund
4. Get the stuff we want for the apartment, mainly new storage units and shelves for the bedroom and living space
5. Loose 30 pounds
6. Look into best options for a new car (either leasing or loan) and if possible get a new car
7. Get an emergency kit together for the house
8. Contribute money to RSP's (at least $1000.00 to start)
9. Continue to grow this blog
10. Attend the BF's family reunion
11. Attend another sunny destination (either Mexico or back to Cuba)
12. attend a dance class/course (either jazz or belly dance)
13. Stress less..
