I forgot to take my book to work on Tuesday and Wednesday (after the long weekend) so i just forgot to right down what i was eating. When i finally thought about it realized my eating habit where awlful. It was like my body after the long weekend totally forgot about the lifestyle change and just didn't care. Couldn't believe how easy it was to fall into bad habits again.
Also i mentioned i did a number on my shoulder. Well it was still hurting during the first half of the week so i really couldn't do much in the way of weights or anything. I still walked a lot but i couldn't jog because the motion hurt the shoulder (i did see a doctor and he said it was most likely a strain. The good news is that now after over a week my shoulder is better)
And of course came Friday night. Me and the BF haven't had a night out together in a while. Between our work schedules and our saving for our holiday we really haven't spent any time together. And its shows (if you have read my past post you will understand). So we decided to budget in a night out together. Our friends band was playing, who hasn't played in 6 months, so we decided to so see them, have some drinks, get a cab home (so we can both drink) and just have a good time. Without worrying about anything. Which was great. We both had an awesome time. I got a little bit more then drunk (the best thing about cutting back on booze is that now it doesn't take me that long to get that way hahaha.. cheap date). The band was great. It was great to see our friends and both of us to have a real good time. Without feeling bad about it later
So overall i would say that week 3 is a complete right off in many ways. I learnt just how quickly it is to reverting back to old habits when you are not paying attention. But i still managed to walk and walk lots so its not all bad. The important things is not to dwell on it. To learn from my mistake and carry on. We are allowed to screw up once and while, although i wouldn't call Friday a screw up but a much needed break from reality.
This is how we learn. By realizing how things go and working out what needs to be done in the future. I may have had an off week, but i am not ashamed or upset up it. I just pick myself up and carry on..
