In the afternoon after my walk I usually have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the station in order to get home. Now I hate stairs and so does my body. I know I am unfit just by doing stairs alone. So every time I walk up these steps I am hurting in the legs and out of breathe.
I hate those stairs.. so last night I got to the top and realized that I was not in pain and only a little bit out of breathe. I didn’t feel like I was hurting.
Then last night while working out at the gym downstairs of my building I wanted to do some cardio to warm up. I did 1.5 minute warm up, 4 minute jog, 1 minute fast walk, 3 minute jog
ending with 2 minute cool down… now that might not seem like a lot but I haven’t been able to job like that in ages. Usually I jog for about a minute before I am in a lot of pain and dying
to catch my breathe. But this felt so cool just to be able to jog for 4 minutes without hurting.
I don’t know if it’s a combination of by better diet, the exercise I am doing or
just being in a great mood.
Perhaps a combination of all three. I know I am nowhere near my ultimate
fitness goal but again it felt like I was getting somewhere.
And its important to celebrate the little things
