I estimate I have properly save a good couple of hundred dollars in the past month from not buying extra food and eating the fresh food in the house before it goes bad. Which is great.
I am going to file this post under motivation for future reference, and I have a feeling I may have mentioned it before but I noticed today just how much I have not spent on on buying lunches and/or snacks in the past 3 weeks since starting my Weight Watchers program. I have learnt basically to plan ahead with meals and snacks for work. I admit I have bought a couple of things here and there and bought my lunch twice in that time, but considering what I was spending before its a big improvement. I am actually eating all the fruit and vegetables in the house and very rarely do I throw them away due to going bad. Even the BF has caught on and it eating more fruit and veggies, which I am seeing a improvement in his mood and fatigue. I used to spend a lot of money on things like that, usually from my allowance and credit cards. I have only used my credit card twice this month (which was to buy my BF's birthday present, but I put the money back on the card, and to book stuff for LA) but not for food. AND I have noticed how much allowance money I have left over during the week which I put towards LA which is nesting us a good sum of spending money.
