So I think its time for me to get back on things. After all I once put all this time and effort into diet, exercise and financial planning I should do it again. The financial part of that is done. I have my budget in place and just need to stick with it. I am in the process of looking for a second part time summer job just to get some more cash coming in and get these debts paid off faster and also to get some extra cash to help put towards travel fund savings.
Next is the diet and exercise. Currently looking into new recipes and see how many points they are on the Weight Watchers (which I need to get back into it again as I slacked off over the last couple of weeks thanks to my life) and then make a meal plan. Also make more time to exercise. I think the main goal here is to start putting myself first rather than last.
I think a big part of getting all these into sync is to clear out some aspects in my life, particularly my apartment. Me and the BF live in a small one bedroom apartment and I think its time to go through some stuff, down size and/or reorganize to make them more functional. I have a dream that everything will have a place, the apartment will look amazing and I can spend more time doing things like building a vege garden on the balcony, crafting and generally doing more things for myself. Basically I am looking for the ikea catalog home. not to much to ask haha
So I think I need to start having more goals and keep them simple, short and in category. I know its a week into June but there are my goals for June.:
- Finance: do one thing besides work that will make me extra money
- Diet: complete going through recipes books and gather information on points on meals
- Fitness: walk at least 30 minutes every day
- Apartment: clear out two Rubbermaid bins and separate the stuff inside.. either keep (and put away) sell or donate. If I haven't used it or missed it get rid of it.
- Personal: look into storage solutions for the closet. If financial able through allowance buy one thing every week to help out that solution.
Pretty easy.. ok GO!!
